Surfline Local Pro Feature

An interview with the folks at Surfline..

” The recent, historic run of tropical swell has made it impossible to ignore what’s been going down on the East Coast. Pretty much anyone following anyone in the world of surf has seen an influx of thick, brown tubes flooding their social media feeds — evident of not only how good the surf’s been back east, but just how many people are actually taking surf photos these days, especially in New Jersey. Dan Przygocki, however, has managed to stand out from the pack by consistently producing images that stop us from continuously scrolling down our feeds and really appreciate the beauty and wonder of a classic East Coast swell.”

ConorWillem_by_DanPrzygocki_COLDSHOTFULLRES and Cliff Bar hosted a contest this winter to show off some of New Jersey / New York’s best surfers and photographers dedicated to cold water surfing. The first round of public voting has been held and now it is up to world class photographers / editors Chris Burked, Grant Ellis, Jason Murray, CJ Hobgood, Taylor Steele, Todd Glaser to judge!

I’m beyond stoked to have this shot of Conor Willem during winter storm Stella make it to the second round and have these inspiring photographers see my work.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and the great surfers I work with.

First Place Light // Golden Hour

Wrapping up this year with a couple small swells, particularly this one last week with friend and photographer Andrew Baumgartel. Andrew gave me a call that this spot was working well with the little waves coming through and I made it to South Jersey just in time for the sunset to explode its colors across us. dec22_spread

Another photo of mine from this evening was chosen by the editors at Eastern Surf to run as their photo of the day and can be found at their site below!
